75th Anniversary of Shasta College

I would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone visiting our website and campuses over the next year as we celebrate the lead-up to our 75th Commencement Celebration! As I step into the role of president of Shasta College and reflect on our history over the last 75 years, I am truly humbled. We measure our achievements by the successes of our students and the contributions we make to the growth and prosperity of our communities. Our commitment to improving our students’ lives has never been clearer to me. Since our inception, the dedicated staff and caring faculty that make up Shasta College have been, and continue to be, the gatekeepers of our mission, vision, and calling. Together, we have built a legacy of service and excellence, rooted in the belief that ‘Success Starts at Shasta College!’ As we embark on this year-long celebration, I am excited to collaborate with our dedicated faculty, staff, and community partners to continue advancing our mission of providing a welcoming and inclusive environment that provides transformative educational opportunities. Shasta College turns 75 years young!

We’re excited to be celebrating our 75th anniversary this year! We kicked things off in Knightly fashion by inviting all staff and faculty to form a giant "75" during flex day prior to the semester start (enjoy the photo)! Many of you have already noticed the new window wraps on the Theatre, Cafeteria, Tehama Student Services, and downtown HSUC campus buildings, and, over the next few months, you'll see more swag, stickers, and light post pennants all bearing the 75th logo. We're bringing you some amazing, fun activities (Spirit Week anyone?!) to help get in the spirit of our 75 years and hope you'll join in.
